Lauderdale Lakes

A rollover crash occurred in Lauderdale Lakes, resulting in injuries to three adults and two children. Emergency services responded to the incident at the intersection of Northwest 48th Avenue and West Oakland Park Boulevard on Saturday at approximately 11 a.m. It appears that a bus and a sedan collided, causing the bus to overturn in the eastbound lanes of West Oakland Park Boulevard, while the sedan came to a stop on the median.

Upon arrival, first responders discovered a man trapped inside the overturned bus, and the sedan sustained significant damage to its front end. The driver of the sedan was taken to Florida Medical Center with minor injuries. The family of four traveling in the sedan, consisting of two adults and two children, were transported to Broward Health Medical Center. A man and a woman from the sedan were classified as trauma alerts, while the two children suffered only minor injuries.

Additionally, authorities noted that the crash led to substantial traffic congestion in the area. The Broward Sheriff's Office Lauderdale Lakes district detectives are currently investigating the incident.
